Notes: You're never too old for a bit of good, clean fun. A double drabble.

There was a tug on Jack's coat arm as the tiny person next to him tried to get his attention. 'Can we have a ride, Uncle Jack?' Mica asked.

He looked at where she was pointing, spotting the mechanical children's ride in the middle of the shopping centre floor. He'd never noticed it there and he must have walked past it a hundred times. Being an uncle was opening his eyes to a whole raft of things he'd never  noticed.

He looked down at Mica, all four feet and eight years. 'Aren't you a little bit big for those rides now?'

'Puh-lease? You can come ride with me.'

Far be it from him to deny a little girl's wishes. He only hoped he had enough to loose change in his wallet. He didn't think it would accept credit.

Mica leapt onto a pink pony, leaving Jack with the train engine opposite. He tucked his coat up so it wouldn't get caught and pulled his knees up to his chin to sit inside whilst the ride moved in slow circles. Trust Ianto to pick that moment to reappear from the shoe repair shop.

'Aren't you a little old for children's rides?'
