Notes: Ianto has targetd the wrong crowd. A double drabble.

Jack couldn't suppress the smile on his face as he heard three excited voices come tumbling through the front door and down the hall. He had about three minutes before they'd be crowding into the kitchen looking for glasses of strawberry milk and cookies, the default after school snack.

Ianto padded into the kitchen before them, dropping wearily onto a kitchen stool.

'Did I forget football practice or swimming or something?' Jack asked. They weren't usually late home on a Tuesday afternoon.

'Nope. I got recruited into helping the kids go doorknocking. We've been all over, up and down the neighbourhood trying to sell fundraiser chocolates for the school. Amazing how everyone is suddenly on a health kick and doesn't want chocolate. Tight arses.'

'Watch the language,' Jack chastised, reminding Ianto that little ears always picked up naughty words and couldn't wait to recycle them at the first opportunity. Usually it was Ianto telling Jack to watch his words. 'How many did you end up selling?'

Ianto tugged the money envelope out of his pocket, counting it. 'Twelve. Only thirty eight to go.' He sighed. 'Great.'

'Take it to the hub,' Jack suggested. 'They'll be gone in no time flat.'

Jack's right. The Torchwood team tun on coffee, pizza, and sugary snacks. Cookies are just what the need!
