Summary: Tosh knows it's only a little thing, but it's still something. A double drabble.

Tosh set the paper cup down on the desk and waited for an awkward moment. She wasn't quite sure what she expected, but the stolid silence was not one of the possibilities she'd imagined when she'd first been queued up in the café.

Coming back to work after a month long suspension had to be awkward. She wanted to show that they cared and that no one blamed Ianto for what he'd done.

She'd had a lot of time to think about it and she was certain that in his shoes she might have done the same thing. She'd never been very good with words but picking up coffee for the team had been a brainwave. No one wanted to admit the coffee from the local café wasn't a patch on that of their young co-worker. It had remained the unspoken elephant in the room.

Now that he was back, perhaps things could return to normal, but this felt like the one gesture she could make that didn't require words. For once someone could make Ianto a coffee and show him he was as much a part of the team as them. It wasn't much, but it was a start.
