Notes: Jack's appearance doesn't make him very believable. A double drabble.

Jack winced as the handcuffs were snapped tightly around his wrists. 'Geez, don't you have these things in a bigger size?' he complained, feeling their bite around his not so slender wrists. 'Talk about police brutality.'

'Shut up,' came the terse order. 'Oi, Ashley! Get that blanket out of the back and cover him up for Christ's sake.'

Jack clenched his teeth feeling the cold with every fibre of his being yet not wanting to display any relief at having the coarse blanket thrown over his shoulders and wrapped tightly around him to cover up his frontal view. 'I can explain,' he insisted. 'I'm with Torchwood.'

'D'you think I'm stupid?' the sergeant asked him. 'You can explain to the brass back at HQ.' He scoffed a laugh. 'Torchwood,' he muttered.

'It's true,' Jack declared, feeling annoyed. 'I'm not just Torchwood, I run it.'

'You run it naked, do you?'

'I was setting a trap for a very dangerous creature that has a preference for cotton polyester blend. It's all I had at the time. We have to capture it.'

The sergeant grabbed him. 'If you think that load of bollocks is gonna bend my ear, you've got another thing coming.'
