Notes: Ianto has come to expect disappointment from his family. A double drabble.

Jack thanked Ianto's sister for the lovely dinner, gripping her by both hands as he did so, and ending his appreciation with a kiss on her cheek. Ianto rolled his eyes at the profuse display of gratitude. Jack never thanked him like that when he cooked. Trust him to completely oversell his charm and good nature just to impress.

Ianto was almost out the door when Rhiannon grabbed him by the arm. 'Yes?' he said, expecting some final parting words of advice from his overbearing sibling.

She looked furtively over his shoulder, making sure Jack was out of earshot. 'Just wanted to say... well, he's...'

'Impossibly charming? Completely ridiculous? Narcissistic? Too good to be true? A wolf in sheep's clothing?' He was fairly confident he'd covered most bases, preempting Rhiannon’s mark of disapproval. She'd inherited the Jones Family bollocks radar and was about to give him her readings. He should have known better than to bring Jack to meet them.

'Would you shut up for three whole seconds?' she scolded. 'I was going to say he's way out of your league-'

'Of course you were.'

'And, that you should be bloody lucky. The only ridiculous one around here is you.'

Jack would no doubt say it's Ianto who's out of HIS league. Big sisters never seem to think their siblings are good enough.
