Summary: Ianto knows this is one argument he won't win. A double drabble.
'I can't believe you!' Jack fumed, expression thunderous as he glared at his lover.
'It wasn't that bad,' Ianto assured him, knowing any kind of argument when Jack was in a mood like this was pointless. That didn't stop him wanting to defend his actions. He knew full well Jack would do his nut when he found out, but he'd gone and done it anyway.
'I said you could sit here and review paperwork. I'd even let you make coffee. What the hell were you thinking going out there? With a gun, no less!'
Ianto rolled his eyes in annoyance. 'Fine. Next time I'll go deal with a vicious alien armed only with my feather duster. I'm sure that'll make it a much fairer fight.'
'You shouldn't have been out there at all!'
'There was no one else available!' It was him or let the alien run rampant.
Jack made a point of staring at the bulge of Ianto's belly. Ianto knew it was designed to make him feel guilty, putting at risk their unborn children. Jack's glower didn't soften. 'Give me one good reason I shouldn't lock you up until they're born.'
Ianto glowered back. 'Because you'd miss me.'
