Notes: Owen has his work cut out for him. A double drabble.

Owen took in the sight of the medical bay, poking through the cupboards and finding them stuff haphazardly with all kinds of things that just shouldn't be stored together. 'How long has it been since you've had a proper doctor here?' he asked the woman called Suzie.

She gave a noncommittal shrug of her slender shoulders. 'Never had one since I've been here.'

Owen froze, this hand caught on the mortuary tray door only halfway open. 'You haven't had anyone here with any medical experience?'

'Well, Jack has some kind of training, I think. That or he just likes cutting up alien bodies for fun.'

Oh, boy. He was going to have his work cut out for him. For a start he was going to have to review everything they'd ever done. He couldn't believe Jack had anything more than first aid skills.

The cogwheel door flashed and whooped with klaxons, Jack sweeping through it. 'Owen! How would you like to help me autopsy your first alien corpse?'

'Me help him?' he muttered under his breath so only Suzie could hear.

She gave him a sympathetic look. 'See if you can't try and teach him which end the head is.'
