Notes: Rhys learns the hard way to heed Gwen's instructions. A double drabble.

'I'm really sorry about this, Rhys,' she apologised for the third time, having ended their date night early. 'I promise it'll only take me an hour or two.'

Rhys gave her a smile. 'That's okay, love. The movie was crap anyway. I just couldn't figure out when was a good time to tell you we should leave.' Probably as soon as the opening credits rolled, right after the guy stabbed someone to death with the stem of a wine glass, he thought. 'Besides, I get to come with you and see the hub without fancy pants Captain Jack here.' He grinned. Like having a backstage pass to the coolest amusement park ever.

Gwen's eyes flicked up from her computer screen. 'Just be careful, alright? You can look, but don't touch anything.'

Rhys rolled his eyes at her. 'As if I'd do that.' He was dying to poke around the place, starting with Jack's office. It was full of weird stuff but it was the manhole cover that caught his attention. 'Wonder what's down there?' He tugged it open and as soon as he did, he heard "Oh, Ianto! Harder! Yes!" Rhys dropped the lid in horror. Should've listened to Gwen!

Haha! Rhys totally deserved that, it doesn't pay to get too curious around Jack's space!

Gwen did warn him. Lucky they weren't cavorting around the hub playing naked hide and seek. :)
