Notes: Wayward tech turns into an unexpected business opportunity. A double drabble.

Jack watched as the bundle of crates were packed onto the lorry.

'That's all of them?' Rhys asked, raising an eyebrow, coming to a stop in front of him with his hand forklift.  

Jack blew out a breath at the sight of the nearly fully lorry. 'I sure hope so.'

'Side racket for you now, is it?' Rhys asked.

'Believe me, it was a less than ideal situation for us, but Tosh and Gwen managed to come up with an ingenious solution.'

'Wacky alien tech that causes socks to multiply? That's a weird one, even for you lot.'

Jack couldn't disagree. Not only had it decided to replicate one of his socks that had been left over from a round of naked hide and seek, it had made a colorful stripey version of it. It hadn't stopped there, of course. Before anyone knew what was going on there were socks in every colour and pattern, mostly psychedelic and gaudy. Three metric tonnes of socks before Tosh found the device buried underneath and managed to switch it off.

Gwen had suggested selling them and Tosh's website had been taking orders non-stop ever since. Who knew they'd become the next fashion craze?

Cool socks are hard to find! I own loads of kooky socks but I'm always gutted when I wear out a pair and have to chuck them.
