Summary: Jack has a new hobby that he's perfectly suited for.

Ianto caught sight of Jack just as he was about to go whizzing past his office. 'Jack!' he called out. 'Need to know if you're good for Wednesday at noon for that conference call with UNIT's new Brigadier?'

'Sorry, Ianto. Can't do Wednesday.'

Ianto raised a curious eyebrow. The usual responses to such a request were "urgh", "do I have to?", "sure, nothing else planned", or "anything you want, baby" - the latter only when no one else was within earshot. "Can't" was not on the pre-approved list of accepted responses. 'Somewhere you need to be?'

'There is, as a matter of fact.'

Ianto's arms folded across his chest. It was his go-to body language when he didn't want to ask the question out loud.

'Gwen's taken up an art class to fill in time. Life drawing and Introduction to painting in acrylics. They were looking for a model. Their last one just got a job with an agency in Berlin, leaving them short a subject to inspire them, so she asked me if I'd be interested.'

Ianto didn't even have to ask the obvious question. Nobody modeled for a life drawing class wearing clothes. 'Why do I get the feeling this was just an excuse to stare at you naked?'

Jack rolled his eyes at his husband. 'Please. Like Gwen's not seen enough of me that way in the last forty years. There wouldn't be anyone under seventy in that class. None of them know anyone young enough that isn't also their great grandson or great nephew.'

Ianto didn't know how he felt about Jack posing for them. He broke enough hearts as it was. All he needed was a flurry of grannies mooning over his husband, or worse. If one of them got heart palpitations from that smile or those assets a little lower down...

'If I say no Gwen's going to make me out as the possessive type, isn't she?'

Jack stepped closer and gave his hips a little squeeze. 'I think we all already know that.'

He harrumphed but gave Jack his blessing all the same. Those lucky ladies getting a good eyeful of his man.

Wednesday came and went before he knew it. He'd almost forgotten except for Jack poking his head in right before leaving, asking him if he looked okay.

'Pretty as a picture,' Ianto teased.

He spent the rest of the afternoon trying not to think about it.

'I'm back!' Jack cried, sweeping into the hub.

'No one had to call an ambulance for a massive heart attack?'

'If looks could kill I'd be more worried about yours,' Jack said, handing over an envelope. 'Present from Gwen. She said it didn't feel right keeping it, and that you'd probably enjoy it more.'

Ianto slowly extracted the A3 drawing, revealing Jack from head to toe sat on a stool.

'What do you think?'

'It's okay,' he said, studying the attempt to capture Jack in charcoal, 'but I still think I prefer the real thing.'

Jack is far better in 3D and full colour. Still, I envy those old ladies!
