Notes: Traveling for work isn't always as fun as it sounds. A double drabble.

Tosh looked up from her computer, noticing Jack shrugging on his coat. 'Going out?'

'Yeah. Think you can hold down the fort until tomorrow night?'

'Tomorrow night? Where are you going that takes two days to get back?'

'London.'

'Oh.' She tried hard not to show her disappointment at not being invited to come along. Her parents were in London. She might have been able to see them. Then she remembered her probation - postcards only.

'Don't take it personally, Tosh,' Jack said, placing a reassuring hand in her shoulder. 'The prospect doesn't exactly thrill me.'

'Why not?'

'Gotta go deal with Torchwood One and Yvonne Hartman. We don't exactly see eye to eye on how things should be run around here.'

He frowned and cast a critical eye over the hub's interior. 'In fact, it'd be just her style to think she could lure me away from here on some false pretense and then have her goons try to break into the hub.' He sighed. 'What she couldn't give to get her hands on the stuff we had here. Still, he said, that's why I need you. Think you can make the place impregnable whilst I give her the runaround?'
