Notes: A delicate piece of alien technology needs delicate hands to look after it. A double drabble.

'Okay,' Jack announced in a quiet voice, 'we're going to need a box and as many towels as you can find to pack this in.' Between he, Owen and Ianto, they were carrying the device and shuffling very slowly towards the SUV. As they got close enough for Gwen and Tosh to pop the boot and start rifling through for what they needed, Jack changed his mind. 'Actually, it might be best if Ianto just holds it.'

Ianto very nearly dropped his side at the suggestion. 'Me? You want me to hold a bomb?'

'These glass diodes along the top are only a few micrometers in thickness. They're incredibly fragile and sensitive. If any of them crack, I don't know what happens,' Jack admitted.

'Sucks to be you, Teaboy,' Owen said. 'Me and the girls will just wait here until you reach the hub. If we hear something go boom, I promise we'll give you a cracking send off.'

Ianto scowled at their medic. 'Not funny, Owen. Maybe I should drive and you can hold it, Jack.'

'Ianto, if it goes off, we're both toast.'

'But I drive better.'

'And you have the best hands in Wales. I trust you.'
