Notes: Ianto has serious concerns over the hub's design. A double drabble.

Ianto grunted as he nudged his hip up against the door. At first it didn't do anything, but eventually with enough jiggling, he heard the happy little beep of the security panel having recognised the card which was clipped to his belt. He sighed with relief before realising that whilst he gripped the heavy boxes in his arms, he was just as stuck as before. He groaned, setting the boxes down on the floor and opening the door, kicking the boxes through the opening with his foot.

'Hey, is that a good idea?' Jack called out. 'I don't normally condone kicking the alien artifacts.'

'Well,' Ianto huffed, 'if you'd been here five minutes ago, I wouldn't have to.' He set his hands on his hips. 'Did you realise that every door handle in this place is round?'

'Ah, so?'

'So, if you have your hands full, it's impossible to open them! At least with a lever handle, you generally use an elbow to get it open. Honestly, I sometimes think the people who built this place did so as a challenge to those who had to work here! As if dealing with the rift and the aliens wasn't hard enough!'
