Summary: Ianto's apartment block isn't doing anything to impress his prospective girlfriend. A double drabble.
Ianto halted awkwardly in the lobby of his apartment block, remembering the large puddle that stretched across the floor, blocking his path. There'd been a leak for days that no one had fixed. Apparently they hadn't fixed it today either.
He turned to Lisa, hoping he wasn't blushing from the embarrassment. He hadn't really been ready to take her back to his just yet. Not that he wasn't head over heels about her, he just thought the place probably needed work, new carpet, a fresh coat of paint and one slightly less messy flatmate.
The problem was that after three pints and a couple of hours conversation - he really hadn't though he had that much to say about himself - he was a little tipsy and suggestible. He wasn't about to knock back her idea that they should quit the pub and go back to his to continue their night.
'Um, so, is this where I lay my jacket down so you can step over it?' Did people actually do that? He didn't really want to. This jacket had cost him a fortune. He plunged through it to the other side.
Lisa leapt and tumbled into his arms, laughing. 'My hero.'
