Notes: Keeping families happy is an expensive business. A double drabble.

Jack rubbed a hand over his face as he sat at the kitchen table, studying the credit card bill. 'Are you sure all of these are ours?' he asked Ianto. Their statement had never run to three pages before. Ever.

'You were the one who promised the girls that could have a big party with, I quote, "anything they wanted".'

'Well, sure, but I didn't think it would cost this much!'

Ianto beamed at him. 'You can't put a price tag on your daughter's happiness.'

You wanna bet? Jack thought. He scanned the list again. 'What's this one here?' he asked, pointing to the four figure amount that stood out like a sore thumb.

Ianto peered over his shoulder. 'Ah, that would be the hire of the riding ponies for the day.'

Jack stared at his husband incredulous. 'Twelve hundred quid for a couple of ponies?'

'Oh, but it was okay when we spent eight hundred quid hiring you a bouncy castle for your birthday?'

Jack's eyebrows disappeared into his hairline. 'You spent eight hundred quid? Man these people know how to charge!'

Ianto squeezed his shoulder. 'Makes you think we should quit Torchwood and take up the party business.'
