Notes: Suzie isn't pleased with her latest assignment from Jack. A double drabble.

'Look out!' Suzie cried, ducking and diving out of the path of the oncoming beast. Her reflexes were quick, and the pterodactyl cleared her by several feet.

Less fortunate were the other two people in the room. Jack spotted the danger a split second too late, time enough only to shove his young recruit hard. Ianto hit the concrete with a painful sounding thud, but it was nothing compared to the pain of the leg that snapped loudly as the dinosaur charged through Jack like a mad bull, not even pausing to consider the man she'd run down.

Jack hissed as his leg knitted itself back together, bones and ligaments snapping back into place without regard for his neural pathways which still insisted on sending him messages of agony. 'Everybody okay?' he managed to grunt out, pushing himself back to his feet, before helping Ianto to his own.

'I told you it was bloody stupid trying to domesticate that thing,' Suzie complained, seeing it now cowering in the corner as if they'd been the ones who'd attacked it.

Ianto winced as he rose to his feet. 'We could try the chocolate again, sir.'

Jack nodded. Anything to placate the beast.
