Notes: Being on Jack's naughty list is not necessarily the worst thing. A double drabble.

Jack chewed the end of his pen as he studied the papers in front of him.

‘Someone is deep in thought,’ Ianto observed, bringing coffee and gingerbread cookies. ‘Can I ask what's got you so perplexed?’

Jack set his pen down. ‘Just writing down some gift ideas and making up my lists.’

‘Lists?’

‘Naughty and nice. I can't decide which list to put you on.’

Ianto raised an eyebrow. ‘Me? Naughty? I just brought you cookies! Nobody is as nice as me. Especially not to you. I should be at the very top of your nice list.’

Jack gripped the edge of the plate of cookies, lest Ianto think of taking it back. ‘No one is disagreeing that you're a nice guy. I was just balancing that with the person that comes home with me at night.’

Ianto leaned his hip against the desk. ‘Oh, so that's what you mean by naughty, is it?’ He smirked. ‘I had a good teacher.’

‘I don't think that was all me. Some of that was there before I met you.’

‘So, what happens if I end up on your naughty little this year? What do I get?’

Jack grinned back. ‘Something naughty, probably.’

Personally, I think Ianto should be at the top of both lists, and get both a nice and a naughty gift. He deserves it!
