Summary: Jack can't wait to test out his Christmas present. A double drabble.

Jack cried out as Ianto slapped his hand did away rather harder than was necessary. 'Ow! You could have just said no!' Jack complained, rubbing the back of the hand that was now smarting from Ianto's whip-like reaction.

'Of course I could have said no, but you would have just ignored me. Slapping is far more effective when it comes to you.'

Jack pouted, still unhappy about it. 'I thought this was my Christmas present, anyway. So how come you're the one doing all the playing with it?'

'It's called reading the instructions,' Ianto lectured him. 'Something I know you won't do. Unless you'd like your present broken within five seconds, someone ought to make sure it's set up correctly.'

Jack suffered through Ianto's fussing over the new coffee machine. It was the super expensive kind that even Jack could use without ruining the coffee, which was the whole point. He just hadn't thought getting it going would be such a tedious process.  

'Can I yet?'

'No,' came the blunt response. Ianto fiddled a bit more and Jack fidgeted, eager to try it out.

'Now?'

Ianto sighed. 'Yes, Jack. Now you can push the magic button to make the coffee.'
