Summary: The water tower provides an opportunity for checking oneself. A double drabble.

Jack caught the subtle pause as Ianto moved across the hub floor, stopping just for a split second by the water tower and adjusting his tie. He smirked. 'Did you just primp yourself in the water tower reflection?'

Ianto bristled at the insinuation. 'I was just fixing my tie.'

'Oh, so you admit you were checking yourself out?'

'I was assessing whether the glass needed cleaning again yet and just happened to notice that my tie was a little bit off.'

'Uh huh,' Jack replied, not believing him for a second. 'I never pegged you as the vain type.'

'It's not vanity wanting to look neat and presentable!' Jack enjoyed just how much the comment ruffled him, puffing up like a chicken on the defense.

'Hey, it's okay. I'm not judging. I check myself out in the reflection all the time. Gotta look your best. You never know who you might run into.'

'Yes, well you would.'

Jack wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him close so that he could look at the pair of them in the silvery reflection. 'Just look at those two sexy men,' he said. 'I wouldn't kick either of them out of bed.'
