Summary: Gwen is unhappy about some local alien defacement. A double drabble.

Gwen slapped a thin file down on Jack's desk. ‘Someone didn't get our memo again,’ she said, looking displeased.

Jack flipped open the file, seeing a half dozen photos of crop circles. ‘Where were these taken?’

‘Millennium Stadium this morning. They're furious, just so you know. The next home and away international is on Saturday. No way they're going to be able to fix the pitch in time for that.’

Jack passed her back the file. ‘I've told them that if they want to come here and tag the planet like kids painting graffiti by the railway line, they've got the whole of South Dakota to play with. I'd have given them Kansas as well, but some state governor there was a real pain in the arse about it.’

She looked at the photos again and sighed. ‘We're going to be the laughing stock of Britain for this.’

Jack leaned forward. ‘Gwen, let's be realistic about this. I saw the way Wales played last time you dragged me to an international. Crop circles on the pitch will not be the reason England laugh at them.’

She snatched back her file and gave him a murderous look. ‘Tread carefully, Jack Harkness.’
