Summary: Ianto is forced to go with the flow to help Rhys. A double drabble.

'And… we've come to a stop,' Ianto announced, reaching across his body to unclip his seatbelt, even as Rhys was still pulling the handbrake.

'Can I just say this is completely mental?' Rhys said, hopping out of the minivan, whilst Ianto tugged open the sliding door in preparation for what came next.

'I don't know why you're blaming me,' Ianto calmly replied. 'You're the one that set this whole chain of events in motion.'

Rhys shook his head. He couldn't argue with that. Bloody future self. Why did he have to pick fridges, though? Why not kettles, or microwave ovens?

He expertly flipped the bolts on the back of the lorry and pulled open the door, spotting their cargo. 'Normally, I'd say people would go mental if they saw two blokes stop in the middle of the road, pop open a lorry and nick a fridge off it. Talk about a traffic hazard.'

Ianto smiled as he wheeled over the trolley and helped unload it, then slide it into their waiting van. 'Almost feels too easy, doesn't it? Who knew this new one way system would be its own traffic nightmare and actually help save the world from utter destruction?'
