Summary: Ianto provides more than one invaluable service to Jack.

'Here's your coffee, sir,' Ianto announced in his typical understated way, sliding the steaming mug under Jack's nose and removing the empty cereal bowl at the same time.

'Thank you. And you don't have to call me sir all the time,' Jack reminded him. Especially when you're serving me breakfast in your own kitchen. Although he loved it when Ianto addressed him as sir, he wasn't going to enforce it as a general rule. There was something in the way he said it that turned it from a deferential salutation into a kinky, innuendo-laced suggestion. In fact, pretty much anything that came out of his mouth could be construed any number of salacious ways, even if he generally meant it in the standard, non-suggestive way.

'I'll bear that in mind,' Ianto said, setting down a plate of toast in the middle of the table and joining Jack with his own coffee. 'Though I do enjoy calling you sir.'

Jack smiled as he selected a slice of toast, layered thickly with strawberry jam, just how he liked it. There weren't too many people he'd slept with over the last few decades that not only enjoyed waking up next to him, but also went to the trouble of cooking him breakfast and ironing him a fresh set of clothes.

'I'll bet you do.' He inhaled the slice in two bites, already eyeing off his next choice. 'So, what's the plan for today?'

Ianto delicately nibbled at his peanut butter toast. 'Well, after I drop you off, the SUV needs to go in for an oil change and have the wiper blades replaced. Whilst I'm waiting, I can walk the laundry up to the dry cleaners around the corner, check the post box for any large items, then pick up the SUV for the weekly grocery run. After that, fetch lunch, help Owen retrieve that body from St Helen's that he's itching to slice open, and then, failing any unexpected rift activity, I should be back for a few hours to cut through that pile of budget reports due next week. Then, tea, dishes, tidy up, and maybe we could squeeze in a movie? Rift permitting?'

Jack shook his head, his toast long forgotten as he tried to fathom how one person could fit that much in a single day. 'You really are amazing, Ianto Jones.'

'I do my best. Torchwood takes a lot to keep it running. I aim to provide an invaluable and much needed service.'

'That's not what I meant. You're planning on doing all that stuff because it's part of the job. It's what you do outside of hours that I appreciate most.'

Ianto raised an eyebrow over his coffee mug. 'Avant garde sex, coffee and toast?'

Jack chuckled. 'No. Just having someone to sit down to breakfast with and chat over nothing.'

Ianto tried not to look abashed as Jack beamed at him. 'Well, so long as my nothing is considered something, I'll take that as a compliment.'
