Summary: Jack needs to learn to be a little more delicate. A double drabble.

'Another arrest on your record,' Ianto sighed as he leaned against the holding cell door whilst an officer slipped a key in the lock, freeing his lover. 'You'd think I had nothing better to do with my nights.'

Jack looked displeased, which was at least something. His usual cheeky grin was noticeably absent from his face.

'I take it you used your authorisation code and got ignored,' Ianto surmised.

'She's got it out for me,' Jack sulked, referring to DI Kathy Swanson. Ianto knew that because her name was on the paperwork as the arresting officer, and also because no sooner had he walked through the station doors, she'd accosted him.

'She made me go down to the car park and see the gash your alien left in the side of her car. Is it any wonder she was a little pissed off? She just paid that car off.'

Jack groaned, hemmed in on all sides by people supposed to have his back. 'It was the car or me. I chose the car. So would you.'

'Probably,' Ianto admitted. 'But I also wouldn't let a valuable member of the police force wonder who's going to pay to have it fixed.'
