Summary: Ianto has his doubts about the team's plan to unwind. A double drabble.

Owen rolled his eyes at the expression on Ianto's face even before he'd given the basketball a single bounce. 'Don't give me that look, Ianto.'

'You're not thinking of playing with that in here, are you?'

Owen pointed up at the basketball ring and backboard hanging just to the left of the cogwheel door entrance. It was clear perspex but had that same familiar Torchwood logo emblazoned on it in black. 'What do you think?'

'But… all the equipment in here. Something is bound to get broken.'

Owen grinned as Jack came up behind their general support officer and clapped him on the back. 'Relax, Ianto. We do this all the time. We've never broken anything. It's just a bit of harmless fun.'

He exchanged a look between the two of them before Suzie leaned over the railing from the level above. 'Are we playing or not? I'm on Jack's team.'

Owen snorted. 'Course you are. Because he always cheats.' He lofted the ball at her and she quickly threw it in Jack's direction. Only Jack was still leering at Ianto and the ball whizzed past him, slamming into the rift machine and fizzling angrily.

Ianto sighed. 'You were saying?'
