Summary: Gwen is trying to break Ianto's willpower. A double drabble.
'Are you sure?' Gwen asked, holding the paper bag ever so temptingly in Ianto's face, giving it a little jiggle. 'It's a pain au choc. Your favourite.'
He bit down on the little voice inside him screaming for him to take it. Just thinking about all that buttery pastry and bitter dark chocolate made his mouth water. He could have eaten three of them.
'Nope. Thanks but no thanks,' he said. 'You can dangle that in my face as much as you want but the answer is still no.' He hoped that would be enough to make it go away before he caved.
Gwen sighed dramatically. 'Fine. Stick to your pre-wedding diet. I don't know why you think you need one.'
'I've put on five pounds since Christmas,' he told her. 'And I don't get to die and have it all melt away.' He groaned. If only Jack would go for a run in the mornings with him. Exercising on his own just wasn't any fun, but he'd be damned if he looked pudgy on his wedding day.
Gwen snorted. 'Like he wouldn't marry you, anyway. I'll give it to Jack then. At least he won't say no.'
