Title: Taken for a spin
Fandom: Torchwood
Characters: Ianto, Jack
Author: m_findlow
Rating: PG
Length: 200 words
Content notes: none
Author notes: Written for Challenge 245 - Jukebox at

Summary: Jack and Ianto have differing opinions on what to do with their latest rift find. A double drabble.
'Well,' Ianto said, shoving his hands in his pockets as he studied the jukebox lying on it's side in the middle of one of Cardiff's busiest and most congested roundabouts, 'at least we know the world isn't ending today.' Not unless jukeboxes had become a cunning disguise for the next alien invasion, arriving one at a time in less than discreet fashion. 'We should get a decent price for it too, he added, once the residual rift radiation has dissipated.' It was in good condition and they'd become a collector's item.
Jack knelt next to it, running a hand down its side. 'Sell it? No way. We're keeping this beauty.' He tilted his head sideways to try and get a look at what records were stored inside.
'I'm not having that thing cluttering up our house.' He was trying to keep things looking modern and homely. Not like their archives which were a literal garage sale of trash and treasure.
'But…'
A huge lorry horn cut through the air. It was inches from the SUV, slewed sideways to block one roundabout entrance whilst traffic cones blocked the remainder. 'Let's argue about it later before that trucker comes to murder us.'
