Summary: Ianto is forced to face the fact that his Lisa is gone. A double drabble.

A chill ran all the way down Ianto's back at the words. "We can be converted together." In that one awful moment he knew he'd lost the love of his life. When had it happened? Why hadn't he noticed all the warning signs before, or maybe he just hadn't wanted to. He had to believe Lisa could be saved.

But not now. Her words were so cold and callous. There was no warmth in her eyes when she looked at him and he knew that if he touched her, that skin would be ice cold against his own. He'd tried to pour all of his love and warmth and reassurances into her since he'd rescued her from that terrible place, but all of it had been for nothing.

Tears began to prick his eyes, spilling warm over his cheeks and blurring his vision. There was only one way this could end now and he didn't think he could let Jack do it. Lisa was gone but the thing she'd become had to be destroyed. He knew he needed to do it but didn't think he'd be able to. He prayed there was still time to figure out an alternative solution.
