Summary: Ianto isn't peladed by his latest addition. A double drabble.


'I really don't understand alien technology sometimes,' Ianto muttered, fingering self-consciously his latest additions, now sporting two bony protrusions from his head that looked disturbingly like little devil horns.

At least he wasn't alone. The entire team had been affected, but it was most noticeable for him and Owen with their short, close cropped hair. The others had theirs masked somewhat in thicker hairstyles, and Ianto could see only the very tips poking through Jack's brown hair.

'I'm sure they serve some purpose,' Jack assured him. 'I don't know what, or maybe this device wasn't meant to work on humans.' Jack must have caught the concerned look on Ianto's face because he quickly followed on with the comment 'but at worst, I'm sure Owen could surgically remove them. They're just bone, after all.'

Ianto fingered them again. They didn't have much in the way of nerve endings, it was true. 'I feel ridiculous with these sticking out.' He'd have to wear a beanie outside.

Jack grinned. 'Oh, I don't know. I think they make you look naughty. Maybe you could tattoo them red. It is your colour.'

Ianto tugged him closer. 'I'll give you naughty if that's what you want.'
