Summary: Jack is a fan of speed dating. A double drabble.
Jack had always assumed that Ianto was the kind of guy that liked to do everything slowly and methodically. It was a fairly safe assumption since he watched the man at work every day. Everything he did had its own rhythm and process, from filing the paperwork to making the coffee. Nothing was rushed and no corners were cut.
So when Ianto threw caution to the wind and just lunged at Jack with a kiss that was up there in Jack's top ten, it took Jack completely by surprise. There was nothing patient or controlled about Ianto when he wanted Jack, and Jack absolutely loved it. As much as he wanted to tell Ianto that it was okay for them to take it slow, he was enjoying it too much. Jack had never been good at the slow, developing relationship. He wasn't good at sharing feelings and personal stuff. Getting down to the physical part without the emotional commitment was much more his cup of tea.
Maybe it was wrong to take advantage of Ianto's desperation like that, but so long as Ianto wasn't complaining they were being hasty and shallow, he wasn't going to make an issue of it.
