Summary: Torchwood's hothouse has lots of medicinal applications. A double drabble.
'Is it really a good idea to be sleeping up in a room full of alien plants?' Ianto asked, in between sniffles and a rather loud honking into his handkerchief. 'Isn't it bad enough that we're already sick from one alien thing without adding in a few more allergens?'
Jack wiped the back of his own nose on his sleeve, earning him an annoyed look that was far too tired to be at all threatening. He hated being sick more than anyone, mostly because there wasn't much that laid him low. This virus was the exception that proved the rule.
'The humidity up here will do wonders to try and kill off the virus,' Jack explained. 'This thing hates warm, sticky environments.'
'So do I,' Ianto grumbled, wearily unfolding the camp bed and crawling onto it.
'It'll also help clear up the congestion. Better than having a head that feels like it's full of cement.'
Ianto honked again. 'Working a treat already.'
'And, isn't the greenery just nice to look at? They say green is soothing and plants are good for your mental health.'
Ianto turned over on the camp bed, facing away from Jack. 'Now you're pushing your luck.'
