Summary: Ianto is keen to get Jack's opinion on his prospective new home.

'Where are all the other people?' Jack asked as Ianto led the way up the garden path and inside the two storey terrace house. 'I thought you said it was open for inspection?'

'It's a private viewing,' Ianto replied, stepping over the threshold and coming face to face with the entranceway and a large living area. 'Only us, booked in for a half hour to check the place over from top to bottom.'

'That's very exclusive.'

Ianto repressed a smirk. 'It's an exclusive kind of real estate agency. Not to mention that the price tag is pretty exclusive as well.'

Jack shrugged off the comment, following him around as he moved down the hallway, checking out the spacious kitchen and dining areas. 'Not like you can't afford it with what I pay you.'

'Gee, thanks boss,' Ianto teased. 'It's got a nice patio and garden, don't you think?' he asked, even as he was ascending the stairs to check out the bedroom on the upper floor.

'My opinion isn't that important. It's your new house, after all.'

'Oh. Well, I was thinking since you spend most of your time at my place now, that this was going to be more like our house. You and me? All moved in together properly?' He sounded hopeful more than certain, even if a few minutes ago he'd assumed it was simple fact. 'We've lived together before.'

'Undercover,' Jack reminded him.

'Still together,' Ianto argued, inspecting the walk-in robe and ensuite. The shower was big enough for two and in their line of work that was a major plus.

Jack perched on the edge of the bed and gave it an experimental little up and down bouncing motion. 'It's not bad,' he replied, moving to lie down on it and give it another full bodied bounce. 'Not bad at all, actually.'

Ianto rolled his eyes at his boyfriend. 'You do know the bed doesn't come with the house, right? We keep our bed and move it in here.'

'Oh, well that's good,' Jack said, staring up at the ceiling. 'You have a very nice bed. Though,' added, giving another little bob, 'this one is pretty good too. Especially if we're going to be using it every day.' He extended an arm out, gesturing for Ianto to join him. Ianto hesitated a moment, worried the agent might come back, but a glance out the window showed him sitting in his car on the street below, deep in conversation on his phone. He relented and let Jack pull him onto the bed where he proceeded to spoon Ianto as the pair of them curled over.

'So, what do you think?' Jack asked, wrapping arms around him as they snuggled.

It was a nice house, Ianto agreed, and it would be even better if it felt like a decision that they were making together. It wouldn't just be his house. It would be their house. He relaxed a little further against Jack's body. 'It's definitely got potential.'
