Summary: Jack is too impatient to satisfy his caffeine cravings. A double drabble.
Ianto frowned as he heard Jack slurp loudly, wandering around the hub with a mug of coffee in his hand. 'Where'd you get that?' he asked, narrowing his eyes at Jack's mug and preparing to berate Jack for having bought cheap takeaway coffee. Right in front of him, no less!
Jack pointed over his shoulder at the nearly empty cafetiere sitting on the kitchen sink. 'I just warmed it up in the microwave.'
'Jack! That was coffee I made the day before yesterday!' Before it had been abandoned whilst they dealt with their latest crisis. 'I was going to tip it out and rinse it. If you'd just waited half an hour I could have made you a fresh coffee. Not risk food poisoning.'
'It's still good,' Jack insisted.
'It's not coffee anymore. More like a science experiment to see what kind of bacteria we can grow.'
'You underestimate just how good your coffee is, Ianto. Even after sitting there stone cold for two days, it's still better than most.
Ianto grimaced. 'You must have set yourself a very low bar.'
'No, you just set the bar extraordinarily high.'
'Just put that down before you make me, or you, sick.'
