'Try not to offend anyone, this time,' came the not so subtle warning from Jack's general support officer.
'Who me?' Jack replied, his expression coy.
'Don't try to be cute,' Ianto told him, clasping his clipboard in an officious way. 'It's not you who has to field phone calls from the mayor's office every time you go there and say something that puts her offside.'
'Well, maybe if she wasn't such a pompous, self-entitled, pain in the backside…'
'Are those the words you said to her face?'
'Nope. I wasn't that polite.'
Ianto sighed. 'And you wonder why they're upset.'
