Summary: Jack and Ianto have been busted by the police.
Ianto had been about to dive in for a second round with Jack when the flash of red and blue lights caught his eye. They reflected off the inside of the door trimmings that only yesterday he'd been so diligently cleaning. He noticed that fine work now as their perfect sheen shone with the lights that were coming from outside the SUV.
He broke away from Jack and swore, which was difficult given how tangled they were. For all the space the SUV had, it still wasn't really designed for the things they sometimes got up to, not that it stopped them from trying. It was easy to blame their libido, but truth be told, it was the adrenaline from being out on a case - even a boring one like tonight. Why not make the most of being alone and not having anywhere pressing to be? Well, at least they had been alone.
'Bollocks,' Ianto swore again, trying to locate his pants and shirt from the crumpled mess wedged under Jack's still naked body. 'Get dressed for God's sake,' Ianto scolded. 'We've been discovered.' Ianto's words didn't hasten Jack's movements, seemingly more annoyed that they'd been interrupted.
If getting undressed within the confines of the SUV was challenging, putting them back on was even harder. Jack grunted when Ianto's knees or elbows inadvertently poked him, but he managed to don trousers and shirt, and even socks, before someone finally rapped a knuckle on the window, which was fortunately tinted. Ianto gave it a beat, checking over his shoulder that Jack at least had his shirt hanging loose over his frame before letting the window down a few inches. The face on the other side surprised him a little. 'Oh, Andy. Um, hi.'
PC Andy took off his hat and tucked it under his arm.' Please tell me the world isn't going to end.'
'Don't think so.'
Andy sighed.' So, is this one of these things where you're going to tell me I should keep my nose out of it?'
'Er, yes?' He hadn't been keeping up to speed with local laws. Did having sex in a car parked in a public space count as illegal?
'At least tell me what you saw so I have something for my report,' Andy asked, sounding a little desperate. 'Temple will do his nut if I come back with nothing.'
Ianto frowned. 'Sorry, but I'm not sure I follow.'
'The trespasser? Reports of weird black tentacly thing? I thought that's why you were here.'
'Tentacles, you say,' Jack piped up, appearing over Ianto's shoulder. 'Where?'
'Um, here?' There was another sigh as the proverbial penny dropped.
'Don't tell me you didn't even see it? Just when I think I've got some reliable witnesses for once.'
Ianto blushed. 'Yeah, we were kinda busy with other things, but promise we'll check it out for you.'
'Tonight or after you're done? Er, no, actually that's a mental image I don't need.'
Jack grinned. 'Torchwood's on it, Andy.'
