Summary: Jack is terrified of what Ianto might do to him. A double drabble.
Jack wrung his hands as he sat hunched at his desk, waiting for the familiar sound of Ianto coming through the door at seven am. He turned up at one minute to seven and Jack burst forth from his office, ready to drop to his knees and beg forgiveness.
'I'm sorry! I know I shouldn't have touched it but I was working late last night and I just couldn't help it. You don't understand how badly I needed coffee and you weren't here!'
Ianto frowned at Jack like he'd lost his mind. 'What are you talking about?'
'The coffee machine. I broke it. I tried to make one last night and it wouldn't heat up. I know you said don't touch it but I was desperate.'
'Get up off the floor, for heaven's sake,' Ianto ordered him. 'You didn't break it. It's just the heating element that's nearly had the biscuit. It's been temperamental at best for a while now. Always knew it would go after ten years or so. I ordered a new part from Italy two weeks ago, knowing it might conk out before it got here.'
'Oh, thank the gods! But… we can still have coffee, right?'
